FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Casting All Talent

"WHY DID I GET A TEXT SAYING I'M NOT IN THE DATABASE?"

Answer #1: Our database works, by matching the name you signed up with to the name you submit your availability with. If you signed up (signup.castingalltalent.com) using the name "Susan B. Anthony," but apply for roles (apply.castingalltalent.com)  as "Susan Anthony" the two names won't be recognized as the same person.

Answer #2: Every so often, usually between any filming hiatus,  we "retire" everyone's submissions and ask everyone to update their profiles. We keep old submissions for a year or so, incase we need to contact people, but book people based on their new submissions. This helps make sure the photos & information you provide is up to date.

"WHAT IF I HAVE THE SAME NAME AS SOMEONE ELSE?"

Then our system will compare the phone numbers associated with each name.

"I SUBMITTED MY AVAILABILITY, AM I BOOKED?"

Not necessarily. If we are interested in booking you, we typically text or email you a "booking offer." This email will have more information about the role and what to expect on set. You are officially booked, once you reply and accept our booking offer.

"HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET BOOKED?"

Times vary. Sometimes it takes a couple weeks, sometimes it takes an hour. Sometimes you find out days in advance,  sometimes we text you and ask if you could work on set tomorrow.

"Once I apply should I keep my schedule open?"

I recommend keeping a pocket calendar and marking which dates you apply for.  When roles are filled, we usually post updates at apply.castingalltalent.com.

We would like for you to keep your schedule flexible while we are casting, but you do not HAVE to keep your schedule open unless we put you on hold.  We usually put people on hold for featured roles that the producers/directors would like to hand select.

"CAN I AUDITION FOR A SPEAKING ROLE?"

For the most part, we are an extras casting company. We handle casting for nonspeaking roles. On the extremly rare occasion that we help or share prinicap casting calls they will clearly be labeled as  SAG rate, principal, or speaking role.
