If you still have questions after reading everything below, you can email us at question@castingalltalent.com. Please be patient, it may take us a while to answer.
Every couple of years we delete outdated casting submissions. This helps make sure everyone in our database is still interested in working as an extra, stand-in, or photodouble. If you receive this text and want to stay in our database, make sure you create a new submission at signup.castingalltalent.com. If you don't want to be in our database, but want to stay in the loop, be sure to follow us on social media.
No, never. You should never pay to apply for extra work. There are several scams out there that will repost casting calls and charge a fee to view them. Don't fall for them and make sure to warn your friends. There may be some legitimate websites that charge fees, just make sure you do your research before you ever give out your credit card information online. If you google or search youtube for casting scams several will pop up.
You will need to fill out a completely new submission at signup.castingalltalent.com. Once a year, we "retire" everyone's submissions and make them submit a new one. We will help remind you when it's time to update your submission.
Answer #1: Our database works, by matching the name you signed up with to the name you submit your availability with. If you signed up (signup.castingalltalent.com) using the name "Susan B. Anthony," but apply (apply.castingalltalent.com) as "Susan Anthony" the two names won't be recognized as the same person.
Answer #2: Once in a while, we "retire" everyone's submissions and ask everyone to update their profiles. We keep old submissions for a year or so, incase we need to contact people, but book people based on their new submissions. This helps make sure the photos & information you provide is up to date!
Not necessarily. If we are interested in booking you, we typically text or email you a "booking offer." This email will have more information about the job and what to expect on set. Once you reply and accept our booking offer, then you are officially booked.
Times vary. Sometimes it takes a weeks, sometimes it takes minutes. Sometimes you find out days in advance, sometimes we text you and ask if you can make it to set in an hour.
I recommend keeping a pocket calendar and marking which dates you apply for. When positions are filled, we usually post updates at apply.castingalltalent.com.
We would like for you to keep your schedule flexible while we are casting, but you do not HAVE to keep your schedule open unless we put you on hold. We usually put people on hold for featured roles that the producers/directors would like to hand select.
In general, no. We are an extras casting company. We handle casting for nonspeaking roles. On the extremely rare occasion that we help or share principal casting calls they will clearly be labeled as SAG rate, principal, or speaking role.
No, sometimes we prefer nonprofessional ones and frequently ask for "selfies." Please make sure your photos are recent and show how your currently look. If your appearance changes send us a new photo. The photos you send us should be clear, in color, and free of distracting backgrounds. Please do not wear sunglasses or hats in your photos.
Bookings are taken very seriously. If you cancel and it's not an emergency, we may choose not to use in the future. However, we understand that life happens. If you ABSOLUTELY have to cancel a booking we prefer a call or text, not an email. Once you are booked our emails, will explain how to get ahold of us.
Everyday is completely different. Usually between 8 - 12 hours long. There will be slow periods where you sit quietly in holding area and other moments where you are on set actively participating in scenes. For a better description check out this page!
