January 7th, 2025 I received heartbreaking news that one of my best friends, pictured, tragically passed away in a car accident. Brittany Coleman was a remarkable person who dedicated her life to helping animals, particularly the cats at Kat Pawz Sanctuary, located in Oxford, GA which she co-founded with her sister Payton.

Brittany was scheduled to begin casting with us in the following weeks. She was so excited about it & I couldn't wait for you to meet her! 

In this difficult time, her sister Payton is determined to continue the sanctuary’s mission, but she needs support. I'm still having trouble putting together words, but if you are interested in learning more please check out the Kat Pawz Sanctuary website, the link is below. Brittany made the website and had friends help with the adorable video at the top.

I know work is slow right now, and Brittany would not have wanted anyone currently on the struggle bus to donate to the go fund me, but if you click it you'll see a really sweet message written by another friend. 

Something Brittany would have loved is volunteers! One of Brittany's daily chores at Sanctuary was to clean the cat house and handle the kitty litter. If you are interested in taking over Brittany's chores for the day or volunteering in another way (ex: grant writing, social media, promotion, adoption events, etc.) please click the link below & add your contact information.
